Rich miso ramen originated in Nishikan Ward, Niigata City.
It had an extremely strong miso taste which needed to be diluted with a watered down broth to thin out the taste, and the noodles were very thick.
Easy to prepare, just put ramen noodles and boiling water in a bowl and heat in the microwave .
