Ise Jingu Shrine Mountain Cedar Tower Incense

The cedar trees that grow in the sacred forest of Ise Jingu Shrine are called Jingu cedars.
The trees in the shrine forest are not allowed to be cut down, so they are regarded as sacred trees of Ise Jingu Shrine.
Only wind-fallen trees that are over 300 years old are called "Yusan Cedar" and are rarely put on the market.
