Collection: Er'ao Agricultural Cooperative
Er O Village is located in the northwest of Lantau Island in Hong Kong, about ten minutes away by boat from Tai O. It is an ancient village with a history of more than 200 years. With the development and changes of the times, the farmland has been abandoned for many years.
Since 2012, with the cooperation of the villagers, the Er'ao Restoration Plan has been officially launched, and the "Er'ao Farming Club" has been established to coordinate agricultural production and regularly organize various farming, environmental protection and ecological activities. The goal of Er'ao Village is to promote organic agriculture and develop local culture and economy with a modern economic model.
Since its establishment, the farming community has been committed to protecting and utilizing high-quality land to provide local high-quality and safe food ingredients. At the same time, it also hopes to gain a deeper understanding of the connection between food and the land and society through the participation of the public.
